Visit these stunning falls and walk their lush surrounds

Begin your experience with a scenic morning drive from your Marrakech accommodation to the High Atlas village of Ouzoud. Along the way enjoy the lush green valleys, the old water mills and the acres and acres of orchards that make up this scenic region. Then head along a path that leads you to the crest of the 110m high Ouzoud Waterfalls—the highest in North Africa—before starting a walk that takes you on a loop around this complex network of falls consisting of three major and several minor streams. These waterfalls really are a true natural wonder! Along the way admire the majestic falls and their rainbows from the many different angles, heights and viewpoints of the winding path. And if you're lucky catch a glimpse of the local Barbary ape population coming down from the surrounding mountains for a play in the pools at the base of the falls. Towards the end of your walk stop for lunch in the shade of the olive trees and soak up the serenity of your magnificent verdant surroundings. Afterwards make your way back along the short path to Ouzoud, where our transport will pick you up and return you to your Marrakech accommodation.
